Hi, thanks for visiting! I don't like bios because I always have such a hard time with them, and whenever I read anyone else's they never really seem to capture them either. I'll give it a shot.

I was born in Brasil and lived there until I was about five years old. My parents split early on, and right around 2000 she decided to move to the US. She had read and loved "Friend Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe" and so she chose Alabama. I know, very weird. I always felt out of place, stuck somewhere between Brasil and America. I left the South for college, something I'd long wanted to do. I was lucky enough to go to Swarthmore College, thanks to Questbridge, so I ended up just outside of Philadelphia.
